YAMBIO, 25 March 2015 [Gurtong] - Kuzee said that it is mandatory for all police officers to remain in their duty stations or risk losing their jobs.

He complained of police officers disobeying orders of deployment and remaining in town areas even after being posted in specific areas.

He warned that if any police officer is found outside his duty station, they will not receive their salary and disciplinary measure will be taken.

Meanwhile, Hessen Enoka representing Ri-Rongu in the state Legislative Assembly also lamented that police officers have reportedly been seen in Ri-Rongu , some still in uniform, drinking in public.

He cautioned all police officers to maintain law and order in the respective duty stations. He also stressed that Police officers must refrain from any conduct in an official capacity that detracts from the public's faith in the integrity of the justice system.
