WAU, 15 May 2017 [Gurtong] -
BADR airlines had been operating directly between Wau and Khartoum since 2004 but halted its operations in 2011 following the independence of the South from the North.

The flight will be taking passengers from Wau to Juba as it proceeds to Khartoum.
Wau State Governor, Andrea Mayar Acho was at Wau airport to witness the first landing of BADR airlines.

Acho described BADR airlines services as good relationship between Sudan and South Sudan.
“When I saw BADR airlines landing in Wau town with the passengers and others waiting now to travel to Juba and from Juba to Khartoum, this is a good gesture between the two countries and it’s a success for BADR airlines and Aloor,” said Acho.

The Deputy Director of BADR airlines, Mohamed Al Fadir said “We are ready to offer all services that the citizens of South Sudan need from BADR airlines,” said Fadir.

According to Aloor Company Director, Marop Morwiel Aayii, passengers boarding the flight from Wau to Juba will pay 15, 250 SSP per sit and will be operating between Wau to Juba and Khartoum every Monday and Friday weekly.
