Speaking during a rally on peace and security in Wau State on Monday, Raphael Madhoga said since his deployment in Wau last year, there have been minimal reports of violation of the cessation of hostilities.

According to the CTSAMM’s International Observer, due to sharing of information between CTSAMM’s  and the two warring parties members, CTSAMM has managed to control confrontations between the two warring parties.

The rally which was held at the State Council of Ministers brought together the State youth, women’s representatives, IDPs, members from South Sudan’s Council of Churches among others.

The initiative is being used to spearhead peace and reconciliation among the people of Wau State.
