We, the SPLM Chapters of Europe enthusiastically endorse and strongly support the nomination of comrade Yassir Saeed Arman as the SPLM candidate for president of the Republic of the Sudan, and H. E. President Salva Kiir Mayardit as the SPLM candidate for the presidency of Southern Sudan and all the noble SPLM candidates for the 2010 Elections.
Since 1983, the SPLM has demonstrated not only to the people of the Sudan but also to the entire world that it is the only political party in the history of the Sudan that can bring real change and transform Sudan into a democratic country. For this and many other reasons, we would like to thank the SPLM leadership for these historical nominations and ask the people of Sudan to support President Kiir, Comrade Arman and all SPLM candidates.
In addition, we strongly ask the friends of the CPA as well as the International Community to support and work with the SPLM, the NCP and all other Sudanese political parties to ensure that the elections will occur peacefully while being free and fair.
To the Partners of the CPA, UN, EU, IGAD, especially USA, one of our strongest supporters, please persuade the NCP to allow International Observers for this election.
Finally, we ask all Sudanese to unite behind the SPLM during this historical and challenging moment in the history of the long-suffering people of the Sudan.
