Following the radio announcement made by Caritas regarding the closure of Ikotos Airstrip from 10th February -15th February 2010, Caritas would like to announce that the Airstrip is now OPEN and flights can be routed to ikotos.
Caritas would like to thank the Government of Eastern Equatoria State, the entire public and especially NGOs working in Ikotos for accepting our request not to fly to Ikotos so that we would be able to finalize the trench excavation of the pipeline across the airstrip which has been successfully finalized.
