TENDER ANNOUNCEMENT
ADRA Sudan-Southern Sector has received funding from USAID for drilling of eight boreholes for primary schools in Maiwut County, Upper Nile State, Southern Sudan. ADRA has procured and delivered all drilling materials to the site.
Tenders are therefore invited from well experienced, registered, and financially stable borehole contractors to perform hydro-geological surveys as well as conduct borehole drilling and installation of the India Mark II water pump in the most viable and accessible location close to the school premises.
The materials are already provided by ADRA at the site.
Requirements
Bidders should meet the following requirements before submitting tenders:
• Must be a valid and registered company in Southern Sudan
• Have successfully carried out two or more similar construction of bore holes in Southern Sudan
• Have an active bank account with a recognized bank with a minimum balance of not less than USD 5,000.
• Be familiar with the area where the drilling is going to take place and availability of local resources.
• The bid must be signed by an authorized person.
Submission of the Tender Bids
For submission of your tender include the following:
• Photocopy of certificate of registration with the Government of Southern Sudan.
• Current statement of account from a recognized bank.
• At least two certificate of completion of recent similar project(s) completed from previous contractor(s) in Southern Sudan.
• Photocopy of company profile with a complete list of administrative staffs.
• Proposed work schedule.
• Full address of the company showing its office location in Southern Sudan.
• Contacts of two previous contractors.
All Tenders must be delivered in a sealed envelope, clearly labeled Tender for the drilling of 8 boreholes in Maiwut County and should be addressed to:

Closing Date
Closing date for receiving tenders will be July 16th 2010 at 01:00 PM.
The bids will be opened on 20th July 2010 at 10:00 AM in ADRA Office.
Late submission will not be acceptable.
