Wildlife Conservation in South Sudan

 

After twenty two years of Civil War in Southern Sudan, the wildlife population was greatly affected by the destruction of protected areas, poaching, and hunting by the warring groups and citizens to supplemented game for the scarce food.

This and many other man - made challenges have continued to see the wildlife population in Southern Sudan diminish. And thus calling for the attention of stake holders both in the GOSS, NGO’s, and other International Organisations, to mange and strategise for the conservation of this great resource.
