YAMBIO, 03 June 2012 [Gurtong] – The bank has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the State Ministry of Commerce, Trade and Investment on 29 May 2012 to pave way for the Ministry staff to access loans.
The State Minister of Commerce, Trade and Investment Simon Ngbiidigi signed the MOU with the newly-opened bank’s Yambio branch manager Bernard Munanu.
The agreement now awaits approval from its Juba headquarters.
Munanu said the Ministry staff will access loans of up to 30,000 South Sudanese Pounds for development and commercial purposes.
“The facilty will be available not only to Yambio County staff but to the entire state. I urge beneficiaries to put the money into good use”, he said.
Ngbiidigi commended the bank for its laudable contribution to the state’s development and called for enhenced co-operation between the bank and the state
Government.
