TORIT, 12 June 2012 [Gurtong] – A notice issued by the Clerk of the Assembly Adelio Kau Kawa says national obligations have led to the cancelling of an earlier resumption on 11 June to the new date.

The notice dated 8 June and which was also aired on state radio informs all members of parliament to report back to work on Monday, 18 June.

He revealed to Gurtong that parliament was adjourned to allow the MPs to join their respective County Commissioners in mobilisation of resources to support the SPLA as well as to spearhead cultivation.

He clarified that some legislators are members of the resource mobilisation committees at county levels, hence their tight schedule.
