JUBA, 12 July 2012 [Gurtong] - The registration of foreign nationals living in South Sudan has been extended for two more weeks.
Director General of the Directorate of Nationality, Passport and Immigration Augustino Maduot Parek says the extension has been necessitated by the huge number of the foreign nationals who did not register due to the long distance to registration centers.
The registration will now continue till July 21, 2012.
He urged all the unregistered foreign nationals to register within the stipulated period.
The government had earlier given a month ultimatum for all the foreign nationals to register.
