YAMBIO, 08 August 2012[Gurtong] - The Minister said that the soils in the area are fertile enough to support farming and increase production.
Speaking to the press at his office, Yugulle ordered a pharmaceutical company to stop selling fertilisers to farmers in the state.
The Minister ordered Dynapharm to avoid selling the chemical fertilisers to farmers in the area as there is no need to apply additional fertilisers.
Yugulle said that most farmers in the area are ignorant on fertiliser usage quantities and poor use of fertilisers will lead to soil degradation.
According to the minister most farmers in the area are poor and cannot afford the use of fertilisers throughout the year.
