WAU, 09 August 2012 [Gurtong] – Western Bahr el Ghazal State Press Secretary Justin Abo Saleh said that the items were handed over to the council by the Commissioner Maradama James Benjamin in Wau.
The government urged Muslims across the state to remain calm as it has provided adequate security to ensure peace during the holy month.
This is the second time South Sudanese Muslims are celebrating Ramadan since the country gained its independence last year.
Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar where Muslims worldwide observe by fasting.
