TORIT, 15 August 2012 [Gurtong] - The station constructed by Far East Transporters Company in Torit will help in easing congestion at the government owned Omoliha Bus Park.
The Bus Station Manager Sadiq Lohai says that the new station and transport routes could facilitate the reduction of transport fares in the near future due to competition.
“We established this Bus Station in order to render service to the people and allow some competition. We are aiming at lowering the transport fee in the near future,” said Lohai.
The company has also launched transport services to different destination in South Sudan including Juba, Torit Kapeta and Torit Nimule.
Lohai called for more bus stations in the town since Torit is densely populated and there is an increasing need of transport services.
