Ikwoto County Councillors Take Oath

The newly elected County Councillors in Ikwoto have taken oaths of office.

TORIT, 17 August 2012 [Gurtong]- There was joy and happiness during the peaceful ceremony were majority were satisfied with the outcome.

Councillor John Loboi from Isuhak Boma said that they were satisfied with the process since its beginning.

The elected and sworn in councillors included;
1. Oyoo Alfred from Lofus
2. Okech Joseph from Ibunyak 
3. Abraham Ohisa from Losite
4. John Loboi from Isuhak
5. Pia Nangie Kiwa from Mangalla
6. Daniel Oleya from Chahari
7. Mary Naboi from Napeyese 
8. Mario Odiongo Odongi 
9. Daniel Lopwa from Hatire
10. Arasa James from Geria Boma,
11. Daniel Okumu from Nakoringole
12. Okeny Karlos from Ifune
13. Rose Naiga from Hiriafet
14. Lofitok Martine from Isihe
15. Lodwa Elizeo from Lomulent,
16. Luka Amai from Lobulo 
17. Juma Kenyatta from Talla
18. Erneo Laslas from Lobira 
19. Timon Lohure from Lotada 
20. Elias Loikoi from Okorohore
21. Imoya Rita from Lonyori  and
22. Loko Augustine from Tanama.


The new councillors are expected to perform their duties effectively in serving the public.

The ceremony was witnessed by Ikwoto County Commissioner Peter Lokeng and a Legal Advisor from the state.
