September 26, 2008 (JUBA) — The Government of Southern Sudan (GoSS) has resolved to scale down its supplementary budget it passed earlier in August due to fall in global oil prices, resulting to decrease in oil revenues flowing from the Khartoum-based Government of National Unity (GoNU).

JUBA, Sept 23 (Gurtong) – Government of South Sudan Policy-makers and Practitioners were part of the participants from over 24 countries who attended a three days training workshop organized by the International Boundary Research Unit (IBRU) OF Durham University, UK on the 14th to 17th of September 2008 in collaboration with the World Border police (Border-pol).

Riek Degol Juer, the Deputy Chair of the North-South Border Technical Committee, Dr.Joshua Akol Otor, Professor of Geography Department, University of Juba and Mr.Joseph Madak Both, Director General of Policy and Monitoring Government of Southern Sudan.
