MALAKAL, 16 March 2013 [Gurtong]-During the marriage ceremony for Keak Jock Muon with Gloria Arnest Bech, the pastor urged the residents to respect the marriage institution.

“When you have joined together like this you need to cooperate, respect, and fully unite among yourself for the development of your family,” said the bridegroom witness Peter Gatwech Mark.

“If there is peace in families there will also be peace prevailing in the churches because churches are people who come from families,” said the pastor.

The pastor condemned adultery and urged the youth to be patient.

“If there is peace at home there will also be peace everywhere in the world, please beating your wife is not a solution to problems, solve through dialogue, why do you beat the body that is like your body,” he said.

He said that Marriage is holy and should be honoured by all.

“My dear friends lets invite our lord and saviour Jesus Christ into our marriages and homes, he is the only solution for marriages problems,” he said.

“We the church leaders strongly discourage practices such as marriage between males and males, females and females, this kind of marriages are not approved by God they are human made, God ordained only the marriage between one male and one female, he said.
