The Musician was flown in from Khartoum by South Sudan hotel who also foot his accommodation bill. The show which started immediately after 9 pm went throughout the night. The red-eyed fans only trooped back to their houses at 6 am.
Kudusay who had so far released two albums received standing ovation when he sang his hit songs ‘my wife come this side’ and ‘Sudan panda.’ The fans were so mesmerized that the voice of Kudusay was drowned in wails and ululation.
Speaker after speaker praises the musician for his talent and pointed out that such adroitness in music should be encouraged in order for the South Sudan to have more John Kudusays. Gifts and monetary donations were overwhelming with others promising as much as 3000 Sudanese pound for the Musician.

John Kudusay sweeps his fans from all age group. The mere mentioned of his name to young Juba residents forms a figure in mind of a young man in his mid thirties with high pitched voice. Many of his songs are informative and signify the importance that the music plays in relation to people’s life.
He sings in Dinka, Arabic and what some called Dinkasized English. His style is African with much tilting towards Arabic fusion.
