Jonglei Prison Wardens Graduate
BOR, Oct 11 (Gurtong) – Jonglei’s Governor Philip Thon Leek was among those who celebrated the graduation of newly trained prison wardens in the town’s Freedom Square this week.

“This had shown that we were abided with interim constitution that guided us to train the formal SPLA fighters to their field of specialization,” said James Tut, who directed the three-month training program.
"They will implement any given orders, protecting the entire population in Jonglei state, and protect the constitution and provide security through safe prisons," said Tut.
A third phase of the training will begin in November.
“Go and execute your duties wherever you will be taken to and keep the mission fresh, you have been trained to protect the Comprehensive Peace Agreement,” said Leek who also urged the prison staff to work with others to keep Bor Town clean.
Leek gave four bulls to the newly trained prison officers as part of the celebrations.
