TORIT, 29 April 2014 [Gurtong] – The commissioners are sacked Mark Akio Ukinbul and Francis Oteka Okech for state Headquarters and Magwi County respectively. This comes after Governor Louis Lobong Lojore established two new ministries of Parliamentary Affairs and Youth and Sports last week.
Lojore is empowered to take the decision by Article 99(2) (a) of EES constitution. In his decrees read over the state owned radio, the state governor thanked the outgoing leaders for their contributions while serving the state in their respective positions.
“I sincerely thank them for their positive contributions while were in their respective offices,” partly reads the decree. Hon. Ukinbul has now been named as the new minister of Youth and Sports. Hon. Ben Kingston Loduk now replaces the outgoing Magwi County commissioner Hon. Oteka Okech.
Hon. Loduk was a former commissioner of Magwi County until in February 2013 when the governor relieved him.
