Request for Expression of Interest for Business Development Advisory Services (BDAS) Providers

The South Sudan Agribusiness Development Programme (SSADP) is an Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP). The direct objective of SSADP is to increase the access to and usage of financial and non-financial services for entrepreneurs to start-up and/or expand their businesses. More specifically, the project aims to support establishment and strengthening of 250 small and medium businesses and farms in South Sudan. The SSADP has duration of four years (February 2013- February 2017)) and is funded by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. It will work in close collaboration with the Ministry of Trade, Investment & Industry.

The SSADP will support the development and provision of Business Development Advisory Services (BDAS) for entrepreneurs through local service providers. The SSADP is expected to train, certify and contract over 20 local service providers throughout the project period.

The SSADP is now seeking applications from individual consultants or companies who are interested to provide services as BDAS Providers. The SSADP will provide initial training leading to ILO-SIYB (International Labour Organization/Start and Improve your business) certification to pre-selected candidates. Successful candidates will be considered and contracted to provide BDAS under the Programme.
