Ministry Hands Over New Motor Bikes To Its Directorates In Yambio

YAMBIO April 9, 2015 [Gurtong] –Western Equatoria Ministry of Education on Thursday issued four new motor bikes to its four Directorates.

The initiative that was led by the state Minister of Education in Western Equatoria Pia Phillip Michael says the motor bikes are to ease mobility of staffs during working hours.  

"At this time all we need to improve on is our work and avoid the excuse of luck of means to deliver services in time to the people," he stressed. "We have to make proper use of the motor bikes for its activities which it is meant for and take good care of them,” he added.

The Director General in the state ministry of Education Science and Technology Mr. Gibson Francis Waru said the motor bikes have been provided for supervision and Inspection of Education activities within the state.

Waru further said the motor bikes were given to four Directorates, of Planning & Budgeting, Secondary Education, Primary Education and Alternative Education System (AES).

Meanwhile the Inspector for secondary Education Mr. Mbuma Anthony said he is very happy to receive the motor bike citing that his Job description involves a lot of movements see  what is happening in the schools around his area.

Mbuma also appreciated the effort of the state ministry for facilitating their work as Inspectors.
