WAU, 19 May 2017 [Gurtong] –Lukak said without a conducive security environment, it is very difficult for businessmen to carry out their activities freely for fear of being attacked.

“Am calling on the President to conduct this National Dialogue to bring together those who are carrying guns to return to the towns such that we can do our work,” said Lukak.

“We need a concrete peace deal that will last such that we the businessmen, the real nationals could bring services to our people in the country,” he said.

He said that in some States businessmen have been forced to shut down their businesses as they cannot transport their goods from one region to the other following series of looting and attacks on the roads.
