Finding Koang Gatluak Doar Kwar Of South Sudan

"He was roughly 16 years when he left (just a child soldier) home. His name was Koang Gatluak Doar Kwar (I do not know the name he calls himself now if he is alive, perhaps if he did not change his name). His mother is Kangach Yieth Kuenywar Choman."

 Finding Koang Gatluak Doar Kwar

Dear Editor of Gurtong, friends, brothers and sisters in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ethiopia, Egypt and other parts of the world, I am looking for a lost cousin who left home in 1989 for independence struggle.

He was roughly 16 years when he left (just a child soldier) home. His name was Koang Gatluak Doar Kwar (I do not know the name he calls himself now if he is alive, perhaps if he did not change his name). His mother is Kangach Yieth Kuenywar Choman.

His maternal uncles are Mathiang Yieth and Tiop Yieth Kuenywar, his maternal aunts are Nyajiok Yieth, Nyachar Yieth and Lingdiit Yieth Kuenywar and his paternal uncles are Phar Doar and Karach Doar Kwar.

His home village (where he was born, where he partially grew up and where he left his parents) is Maker, between Garbek and Borjangni villages. He is from Nyuong Community, Unity State (Bentiu).
He possibly may not know the name of his county (Payinjiar) because this name surfaced when he already left home. We have never heard of him since 1989 to date. We looked for him in Kenya, Uganda and Ethiopia refugee settlements all in vain.

That time, there were no network systems as it is now. We would have exhausted the search for him if the current means were there when the search started in 1999-2005. He was never confirmed dead by anyone! Hence, we believe he is alive until all these means are exhausted.

My appeal also goes to my brothers and sisters from Maiwut, Longechuk (Gajaak) and my Gaguong brothers and sisters who might have kept with them people from Bentiu (particularly people who returned from Ethiopia in 1990-1992). Please, if you know anyone who has established himself there and might have changed his name and is from Bentiu, let me know.
