Did South Politicians Immigrate North?

Howlong will South Sudanese masses continue to condone demagogic behavior of some individual politicians who collaborate with the enemy and undermine the stand of the vast majority of Southerners?

 Did South Politicians Immigrate North?

I quizzed an expatriate of 35 years about what he missed the most in South Sudan? I was fully expecting him to say “Greek Club mates in Juba”, but, to my astonishment, he declared, “the birds! They're fantastic”.

The cockatoos, powerful owls and others that migrated to the city represented a first wave of “climate change refugees”. They had come in search of food and new roosts from environments blitz.

Same image presented itself when I heard that three permanent members of the so called Sudan People’s Liberation Movement – Democratic Change (SPLM – DC) had deserted their new party and returned to SPLM main party and were welcome back by the party leaders with open arms. Apparently, they had realized that the Jallaba's main goal was to use them to create chaos, confusion and instability in the political arena, using the old tactics of divided-and rule, with very sophisticated new techniques and methods; thus undermining the aspirations of the South Sudanese towards self-determination, to choose their fate in a referendum for unity or secession.

The SPLM/A have a long  history of accommodating  flocks of all colors of birds that had lost their way and returning back to the South after having emigrated to North Sudan, looking for what they called opportunities. But instead of gaining something, they paid an outrageous price for their greed, forgetting that we have enough food for every one right here in South Sudan.

In South Sudan, "We have enough room for everybody", said the founder of SPLM/A, the late Dr. John Garang de Mabior, in Phonix during his last visit to the United States of America in 2004.

The inevitable question that I would like to ask is: How long will South Sudanese masses continue to condone demagogic behavior of some individual politicians who collaborate with the enemy and undermine the stand of the vast majority of Southerners? Remember that the most intelligent are not necessarily the most successful people, but the adoptable. Indeed, how long will it take the traitors to agree with their opponents and stop looking for the needle in the haystack?

South Sudan and other marginalized areas in the country are now experiencing very horrific political draught season, due to the games that are being played by National Congress Party (NCP/NIF), which is working day and night, misleading Sudanese people through their bias media, using lies and cheap public instigation.

In contrast, the SPLM/A, under the leadership of the 1st Lt. Gen Salva Kiir Mayardit, the President of the Government of Southern Sudan (GoSS) and Lt.Gen James Hoth Mai, Chief of Staff of SPLA, continue making substantial progress in transforming the army into a conventional and a disciplined one for the future state, instead of engaging in unhealthy debates and destructive criticisms.

In conclusion, South Sudan is in a critical situation and it is not the right time to fight over minor matters. Don't get wrong. I 'm a strong believer of the fact that people do agree to disagree and avoid taking drastic measures just to make a point. Enough is enough. We are now facing the tsunami of our time, which reguires us to be united more than ever before.

Salute and tribute to the comrades who put their lives in harms way for our liberty, freedom, justice, and equality, so that South Sudan would be a better place to live in.

Long live SPLM, long live SPLA, and South Sudan Oyee.
