No Smoking in Rumbek Town: Commissioner
Tobacco smoking has been banned in the Lakes State capital Rumbek.

RUMBEK, 09 June 2010 (Gurtong) – The Rumbek Central County Commissioner Dut Makoi Kuok has issued a decree prohibiting the consumption of tobacco, commonly known as shisha in the town, citing the wayward behaviour of users of the drug.
“Those who smoke shisha mix it with other dangerous and illegal drugs. Similarly, those who sell the tobacco have not been licensed by Rumbek Central Town Council to engage in such business”, he told Gurtong.
He also said the consumption of such drugs was a threat to security, saying that those consuming the drugs tend to engage in illegal activities.
Dut also took issue with the SPLA soldiers who partake of the tobacco for negligence of duty, citing last month’s incident where a former prisons officer went on a shooting spree in the town after getting hold of a gun whose owner had left attended as he went to smoke shisha.
He affirmed that the county was implementing the provisional order of tax exemptions on food items issued by the immediate former caretaker Governor Telar Ring Deng.
During his recent rein, Deng had issued three orders that banned the sale of alcoholic drinks in the state during weekdays, a food item tax exemption order and a ban of illegal courts operating without warrant of establishment.

That is it Mr commissioner of Rumbek Central county, to stop those smokers of Shisha is what will let people appreciate you but smokers cann't be happy with you. They don't know that you save their lives not to be attacked by some diseases and some of problems caused to them by drugs. It is really dengerous to their lives, they mix it with some drugs that cause even madness, for example "bangei" is one of the mixures.
It is mostly Telar Ring Deng who showed the way to the people of Lakes State, he banned the drinking of alcoholic drink during the day time in working days. Telar Ring Deng is an expertist that knows rules of law, he simply convinces the law breakers by telling them that what they have done is not in the constitution of Southern Sudan and constitution of Lakes State.
The SPLA soldiers should need to be careful with their lives not to deform or grow some of attitudes by drinking too much alcohol that makes them to fall on the road sides with militray's uniforms. The national soldier is not a simple person that can destroy himself by drinking alcohol or smoking a dangerous drugs.
Leaders of Lakes State work like Telar Ring Deng in your State, to be corrupt is not what brings you a popularity what it brings you is bad reputation and nobody in the community does like you.
