Your Excellency,

Re: Message of Condolence from SPLM UK and Ireland Chapter

On behalf of the entire membership of the SPLM Chapter in the United Kingdom and Ireland and on behalf of the entire Sudanese community here in the UK, we wish to express our deepest sympathy and condolences on the untimely death of H E Dr Samson Lukare Kwaje.

Your Excellency, we are terribly shocked, heartbroken and saddened by the tragic sad loss of our dear leader and senior public official at such a critical point of our struggle, especially when his gifts, talents, energy and wisdom are most needed to bring the fruits of self-determination and long lasting peace to our people. Dr. Samson Kwaje served our movement and our cause with determination and diligence and brought unity amongst our marginalized communities.

On his many visits to the UK he has always insisted on meeting the leaders of our Chapter and all the civil society leaders. We all shall miss him dearly.

We would like to wish you and your entire leadership strengths, courage and determination to carry on the struggle to its final conclusion. The contribution of those who have fallen for the cause of our struggle will be remembered forever by future generations for years on end.

We stand together with your comrades across the movement to pay tribute with the bereaved families of our heroes and heroines in this time of sorrow and sadness.

May God bless you and the bereaved family, relatives and friends of late Dr Samson Lukare Kwaje at this most difficult time.

Long live the people of South Sudan.
Long live the SPLM/A.
Long Live the President of the SPLM Salva Kiir Mayardit.

The struggle continues.

Yours sincerely
Martin Muortat chair SPLM Chapter UK & Ireland
