PACT: Seeks Proposals from Contractors for the Construction of Improved Haffirs (Earth Dams)

INVITATION TO BID

Pact, Inc. (“Pact”), through its Sudan Water for Recovery and Peace Program (WRAPP), seeks proposals from competent contractors for the construction of improved haffirs (earth dams) funded through the Sudan Recovery Fund (SRF).   Local contractors registered and operating within Eastern Equatoria State are encouraged to apply.  The successful contractors will be engaged by Pact to do the work only through a negotiated contract (hereinafter referred to as the “Contract”).

Proposals must be received by Pact’s office in Juba by Friday 28th October, 2011 at 12:00pm Juba local time.

Acceptable methods of transmission of proposals are either hand-delivery, courier, or e-mail as described below:

Pact reserves the right to award to more than one bidder or to reject all offers or cancel the solicitation at any time. Contractors fully registered in Southern Sudan are highly encouraged to submit their proposal as per the requirements identified in the full RFP.
