The United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) Special Representative of the Secretary General, Hilde F. Johnson arrived in Torit to join Governor Louis Lobong Lojore for Kapoeta South County in order to grace the occasion of handing over the office.

The Commissioner disclosed over the phone that he was so thankful to UN leadership for the offer implemented through United Nations Office of Office for Project Services (UNOPS) that has been the construction work for nearly 16 months.

He said that the building is unique and one of the outstanding facilities ever in the county.

The building is furnished with 24 well equipped rooms apart from other kitchen, bathrooms and restrooms.

This is part of efforts by the state government to transfer towns to the people in villages.
