Odeo Omot of Obo village blamed the Akobo County authorities for not doing enough
to settle displaced Anyuak community back to Anyuak land in Akobo.

Governor of the state of Eastern Equatoria, Brig-Gen Aloisio Emor Ojetuk, has
said that the remnants of the former Equatoria Defence Forces (EDF) that had
joined the Sudan People’s Liberation Army (SPLA) in 2006 are a security
threat in the state.

Governor of Western Bahr el Ghazal State, Mark Nypouc, has relived his
Minister of Rural and Physical Infrastructure, Dr. James Henry, from his
duties on charges of corruption and mismanagement of public funds. The
sacked minister has been indicted by the local police and is set to face
corruption charges in court.
