Pursuant to the provisions of the Interim National Constitution of the Republic of the Sudan for the year...., the National Legislature passed and signed by the President of the Republic the following law:
Chapter 1
Preliminary Provisions
Name and Commencement
The Present law is named "Southern Sudan Referendum law of ...., and shall enter into force from the date of signature.
Interpretation
In the present law, unless the Context indicates otherwise the words and expressions shall have the meaning give against each:
Referendum: This process means taking the opinion of the people of Southern Sudan to Self-determination in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution of the presen law, READ FULL DOCUMENT

ABYEI AREA REFERENDUM ACT 2009
Pursuant to the provisions of the Interim Constitution of the Republic of the Sudan (2005), the National Legislature adopted the following Act, which is signed by the President of the Republic:
CHAPTER ONE
Preliminary Provisions Title and Commencement
1. This Act shall be cited as “Abyei Area Referendum Act 2009”and shall come into force as from the date of signature.

Be it hereby enacted by the National Assembly, in accordance with the Interim National
Constitution of the Republic of the Sudan 2005, and singed by the President of the
Republic, the following Act:
