Political Corruption in Jonglei

Hi all !
When he became jonglei governor he was highly welcome and every Bor citizen has stood by him and  supported every policy he tries to implemement. Now his community support has dwindled as a result of poor decision he made when he erased Jale's nominated MP Kuol Bol and have him Substituted by Deng Kut Alier from Baaidit.

His decision to eliminate Jale MP from the list of nominated representatives has angered the entire Bor community and its Poiltical figures, and unless he reinstated him shall his supporters continue to support him.  When an inquiry commitee composing of DR Robert Mayom, under secretary of Information and Telecommunication Biar Kuol Ayuen and Honourable Judge Dengtiel Ayuen Kur went to him, he said to them, "this is my decision, I have made it and is irreversible whatsoever". Indeed , these are not words  a man a whole community adore can say .Probably, something must be wrong with him and I think His Excellence Kuol Manyang has gone mad and would better consult psychiatrist  for mental check up.

When he took over governorship from Thon Leek,  I had thought principles for social justice, free will to choose your political representative and all thoughts of corruption would be gone.

Join me in the fight to restore justice.

Re: Political Corruption in Jonglei

I think Kuol has run out of leadership abilities. I lost confident in him long time ago given his inability to initiate even a single developmental project. If I was there to vote in the coming election he could lose my vote. I don't buy his policies anymore.

Hey guys, you are talking bout Jale and Baidit game instead of Jonglei problems. Anyway, I beleive Kuol Manyany's decision was the right idea. Because Kuol Bol who was also called Adurweng nok. Was  famous in Nairobi for his betrayed and collaborated with enemy of South Sudan for long time. He deserve right  to live as  a citizen of South Sudan but not to engage in the SPLM affairs.

Re: Political Corruption in Jonglei

First, it was not SPLM election; it was South Sudan election where all political Parties participated. Kuol Bol did not contest election for SPLM but was an independent. He was voted for by his people of Jale. Unless you want to say that the people of Jale had also betrayed and collaberated with enemy of South Sudan and therefore did not have a right to vote, the decision of the Governor violated the election law and should have been subject to legal questioning. The Governor anyway reversed his decision by consenting to the re-run of election in that constituency; we need to thank him for recognising the truth. Leaders who concede to the will of the people are acceptable; but people's will must always precede decisions.

THANKS;

DENG BIOR DENG.
