National Ministers For Environment And Public Service Sworn In

The two appointed National Ministers; Hon. Awut Deng Acuil the Minister for Labour, Public Service and Human Resource Development and Hon. Alfred Lado Gore, the Minister for Environment, were sworn in yesterday before President Salva Kiir Mayardit.

JUBA, 15 September 2011 – The two appointed National Ministers; Hon. Awut Deng Acuil the Minister for Labour, Public Service and Human Resource Development and Hon. Alfred Lado Gore, the Minister for Environment, were sworn in yesterday before President Salva Kiir Mayardit.

President Kiir congratulated the two ministers for the new assignment and wished them well in delivering services to the new nation. Kiir reiterated his personal commitment in supporting all the ministries in addressing challenges of the new nation.

Hon. Awut Deng Acuil congratulated President of the Republic for making the independence of South Sudan possible. She also thanked the President for reappointing her in the same ministry which she described as a challenging ministry.

Hon. Acuil expressed her readiness not to let down the President and work as a team in implementing policies of the government.

The minister for Environment Hon. Alfred Lado Gore described the President as a man of peace and appreciated H.E Kiir for appointing him as a minister in the National Government. Hon. Lado Gore expressed readiness to contribute in serving the new nation.
